Meet Marcita.
Marcita L. Spencer is the founder of A New Assignment, LLC and the visionary behind A New Assignment®, MSEQUIPPING®, and EQUIPPING ACADEMY®.
As a mother of three, Marcita’s life experience deeply informs her work, but her message extends beyond motherhood.
Her experience crosses manufacturing, medical service, education, technology, entrepreneurship, caregiving, coaching, advocacy, and workforce transition. After becoming a dislocated worker, she continued investing in education and discovered an enduring love for teaching, technology, learning, and helping other people move toward their goals.
Marcita holds degrees in business, technology, and education. Her work brings together lived experience, learner-centered instruction, faith-rooted reflection, practical strategy, responsible AI use, and a belief that people often need realignment—not judgment.
